I have discovered a new Beauty brand Sabon which uses natural ingredients and ancient formulas to create products that are not only great for the skin, they act as your therapist too!  

This is a late post, and I know summer is over, but I feel like I need to extend it a little because I'm not ready to let go of the Dream of Harmony range which is still available to buy.  Inspired by tranquility and taking time for yourself, the collection really does exactly what it says on the tin, giving you a spa experience at home, and making you feel happy.

If you're not aware of Sabon, they specialise in creating products to offer a personal and exciting experience for not only the body, but the soul, as they view atmosphere as part of the experience.  All products are Paraban free and enriched with a range of raw ingredients including extracts from the Amazon rainforest and minerals from the Dead Sea. Their first UK store in Covent Gard is definitely worth a visit. It looks like an old apothecary with walls of beautifully packaged products and you have to see the handmade soap bar.

I have been using the shower oil in Clear Dream from this collection which seems to have lasted forever.  It smells amazing, makes skin super soft, and the vintage packaging looks great in the bathroom. It is rich in essential Olive, Avocado, Jojoba and Wheat Germ oils, Omega 3, 6, 7, 9 and vitamins A, E.

The Lavender Apple Body Scrub uses a combination of sea salt and essential oils (almond and soy) to revitalizing the skin.  It also smells great and gently exfoliates leaving skin super soft.

Like any alchemist, I'm on a quest in search of gold, and the elixir of life.
But in my case, it's for glowing skin, and the best moisturiser for eternal youth...

Even for me, this is pretty indulgent, but the other day, I looked in the mirror, and didn't even recognise myself! My holiday glow had disappeared, whilst my regular routine of my hectic London lifestyle had started to sink in - a 3 hour daily commute, lack of sleep, and also a three week flu, had left me feeling drained of energy, and actually quite sad. 

I had the facial on Wednesday night at the Carnaby Spa, which is a perfect Central London location for those wishing to escape Oxford Circus for a quick manicure, facial, massage, or even a nice cup of tea and cake. For me, it was 20 minutes away from my phone, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp. Heaven!

The whole experience was so great. I was greeted by my super friendly facialist, who offered me a cup of tea before I started my treatment. The candlelit room (Cowshed products of course!) was so soothing, and tranquil, allowing me to slip away from my troubles, and to-do-lists. The massage itself was beautiful, she used all Cowshed products to cleanse my face, and neck, steamed my face with a hot towel, and gave me the most amazing massage. I would tell you which products she used, but I was so relaxed, I didn't care to ask! Sorry! I do know she used the Anti-Ageing perfecting Serum because it was so good, I had to buy it.

The results are beyond incredible. Today, my skin feels so amazingly soft, I don't even recognise it as my own! The colour of my face looks different, it's definitely glowing from within, and not from makeup, and my face looks more symmetrical, which must be due to the Facial Yoga. 

Facial Yoga, has become super popular recently as it's a non-invasive alternative to Botox and surgery. It helps to increase blood circulation, allowing more oxygen and more nourishment to reach the cells of the skin, which therefore stimulates collagen and elastin production to lift, firm, tone and reduce wrinkles. The result is a clear, healthy complexion with a beautiful glow which has less toxins and has a better ability to absorb moisture. 

Any gym addict like me, would know that this makes total sense, and clearly works. It also seems that the endorphins have kicked in too, as I feel less stressed, and back to my normal happy self.
